Position: UX/No-Code Web Design Intern
Location: Remote (Must be based in the Pittsburgh area)
Compensation: College Credit Only
Duration: 2 semesters
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in a comprehensive learning curriculum designed to introduce the fundamentals of UX design and no-code web development.
- Participate in hands-on projects under the supervision of experienced designers and developers, applying UX principles and no-code tools in real-world scenarios.
- Assist in the design process, from research and wireframing to prototyping and testing, using a variety of design tools and no-code platforms.
- Collaborate with team members on developing user-centered design strategies, learning to interpret user feedback and analytics to enhance website usability.
- Support the team in documenting design processes and decisions, gaining insights into the collaborative and iterative nature of web design.
- Receive mentorship and engage in regular feedback sessions to enhance your design skills and understanding of web development principles.
- Attend educational workshops and team meetings, contributing to discussions and absorbing knowledge from experienced professionals.
Qualifications:
- Residing in the Pittsburgh area and currently enrolled in a college program, with an interest in web design, UX design, or a related field. No prior experience in web design or UX is required.
- Strong desire to learn about UX principles, web design, and no-code development tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an enthusiasm for understanding user behavior and design thinking.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to engage in a team-oriented environment.
- Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, showing initiative and a proactive approach to learning.
